Our story

Quality recovery, without the markup or the myths.

Enhanced Human exists for one reason. Somewhere along the way this industry got expensive, vague about the science, and comfortable taking advantage of people who just want to recover well. We're building the opposite — and we'll show our work.

What it actually costs

The price most brands bury at the bottom.

So we put it first. Here's what the brands you're actually choosing between really cost — with the tub and the shipping added back in, because that's the number you pay.

A working cold plunge, all-in
Australia · AUD · chiller + tub + delivery
Revel Freeze $559 tub + $1,358 chiller + ~$200 delivery
~$2,117
Kiva Chiller + included tub · free delivery
$2,000
Vital+ Tub + chiller bundle · free delivery
$1,595
Enhanced Human — Ice Drop Chiller Uses your own bath · free delivery
$1,395

With the others, the chiller and the tub are separate buys — and Revel charges delivery at checkout (about $200 to a metro address, more to rural), so a working Revel plunge lands near $2,117. Ours uses the bath you already own and includes delivery, so $1,395 is the whole cost — nothing added at checkout.

A genuine dry sauna
Australia · AUD · traditional wood / Finnish only — no infrared or steam
Revel Tampere 4-person traditional Finnish · delivery at checkout
$4,499
Kiva Reset 2-person traditional Finnish · free delivery
$4,495
Enhanced Human — Dry Sauna Portable dry heat · free delivery
$1,195

Like for like: these are genuine dry, traditional Finnish wooden saunas — the format almost all the research is based on — not the cheaper infrared or steam units, which are a different thing. We left those out on purpose. Real dry heat, at a fraction of the price, delivered free.

Prices as listed, June 2026 (AUD); all three brands were mid-sale and Revel quotes delivery at checkout by postcode, so figures move. The ~$200 Revel delivery is a metro estimate. Sources: getvitalplus.com, revelsaunas.com.au, kivawellness.com.au.

Why we exist

The recovery market
has a few bad habits.

We're not interested in villains — just in fixing the things that quietly cost you.
Three of them stood out enough to build a company around.

01

Priced like a luxury, built like anything else

A water chiller and a heated cabin aren't exotic engineering. Yet a lot of the market prices them as if they were — average hardware wrapped in premium language, with an inflated "RRP" sitting there to be discounted from.

02

The science, kept conveniently vague

Brands lean on impressive-sounding studies without ever showing them, or quietly overstate what the research actually found. Cold gets sold as a fat-loss tool; heat as a workout. We think you deserve the papers — and the caveats that come with them.

03

The customer comes last

Locked-in ecosystems, claims nobody has to back up, reviews that may or may not be real. When the gear is mediocre and the marketing isn't, the person paying is the one who loses.

What we stand for

Four things we won't
compromise on.

Honest, fair pricing

One fair price, shown up front. No inflated RRP to 'discount' from, no markup for the logo on the box. You pay for the hardware, not the marketing.

The real science, shown

Every claim links to the study behind it, graded by how strong the evidence actually is — including where it's thin. Don't take our word for it; read the science.

Built to a genuine standard

Real dry Finnish heat. A chiller that actually holds temperature. We'd rather over-build the product and under-write the marketing than the other way around.

Recovery for everyone

These tools shouldn't be reserved for elite athletes or people with money to burn. Reachable isn't a marketing line for us — it's the entire reason the company exists.

See where the money went — into the product.
