made-to-order
Made-to-order & lead times.
Most units are built when you order them. Here's how that works, honestly.
Why made-to-order
Building units to order rather than warehousing them is a big part of how the pricing stays where it is you're not paying for stock sitting in a shed. The trade-off is time, and we'd rather be upfront about that than surprise you after checkout.
How it works
-
You order and pay at checkout
Full payment is taken upfront. Your place in the production queue is confirmed the moment you order.
-
Your unit enters production
Made-to-order units are built and freighted in batches. Current door-to-door time is roughly 60 days; we quote 8–10 weeks so a normal delay never breaks a promise.
-
We keep you updated
You'll hear from us at each stage order confirmation, production, dispatch with tracking, and (for freight items) the carrier's delivery booking. Updates go to your checkout email.
-
Delivery
Courier to your door for portables, freight to the kerb for large units see how your order is delivered.
Any made-to-order or pre-order purchase can be cancelled any time before dispatch for a full refund. No fee, no questions. Email us with your order number see cancel or change my order.
In-stock exceptions
When we have units in stock, product pages say so, and those orders dispatch within 7 business days.
Ordering for a deadline
If you're buying for a specific date a birthday, a competition, a renovation handover email us before ordering with the date and your postcode. We'll tell you honestly whether the current queue makes it, rather than letting you find out later.
We'll tell you as soon as we know, and you choose: keep waiting, or cancel for a full refund.
